Green Woodcarving Foundations with Maeve Gathje

Ready to dive into Scandinavian-style wood carving? If you hope someday to carve spoons, bowls, and other practical items using “green” or fresh wood using traditional hand tools, this is the right place to start.

Students will complete several simple projects, such as hooks or spatulas while being introduced to foundational tools and techniques.

Suitable for ages 16+, or ages 14-15 with a registered adult. $155 ($135 ASI member) + $30 materials fee payable to instructor.
