Northern Clay Center’s mission is to advance the ceramic arts for artists, learners, and the community, through education, exhibitions, and artist services. The Groove Artspace is a multifaceted organization, including a teaching collaborative (with 15+ teachers offering a huge array of arts and crafts classes), studios for working artists and artisans, a gallery offering monthly exhibits and a non-profit arm managing our community outreach and education work.  We have a strong focus on glass and mosaic, but our work encompasses all forms of handwork and artistic creation.

The Lyndon House Arts Center supports local and regional artists in their creative
pursuits by professionally exhibiting their works, developing programs, and designing exhibitions of relevance to our times. The Arts Center provides the community with quality art education and events to celebrate our cultural heritage. The Arts Center offers rotating contemporary gallery exhibitions, classes, workshops, and studio memberships. The Ware-Lyndon Historic House (c. 1850) houses a decorative collection and, on our grounds, an interpretive garden. The Arts Center is dedicated to cultural place-making and enriching the Athens area through the inclusion of art in every aspect of everyday life, fostering a deep appreciation for the value of the visual arts.

Founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 2006, Ruiz-Healy Art represents an international roster of artists, emphasizing Latino/a creators and Texas-based artists. Biculturalism and discussions of identity are important aspects for several artists we work with.

In the spring of 2019, we opened a gallery space in the Upper East Side of New York City that works in tandem with the gallery in San Antonio as a platform to disseminate the artist’s work. The continuous investments in these underrepresented areas have remained a longstanding signature of the gallery program.

The gallery is recognized for its success in placing works by our artists in prestigious museum collections ranging from the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Whitney Museum of American Art, the Smithsonian Institution, the LA County Museum of Art, McNay Art Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and many others.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is a unique state-of-the-art educational facility and cultural center combining teaching, research, cultural outreach and crafts marketing all operating in partnership. The Center operates academic programs, workshops, outreach programs and exhibitions and sales galleries as well as facilities for meetings and conferences.

The Center exists at a crossroads between urban and rural, academic and folk, high art and domestic life. Born of the vision and initiative of the people of TN and a group of remarkable advocates for fine craft, the Center opened in December of 1979. The complex was originally developed by the TN Arts Commission and funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission, and is now a division of TN Tech University.

Spectacularly located in Middle TN on the Highland Rim of the Cumberland Plateau, on the wilderness tract overlooking Center Hill Lake, the Center’s facilities are spacious and well equipped. The location was chosen with both regional and national service in mind, centrally placed in the U.S., in the middle of a rich Appalachian craft tradition. The wilderness setting is ideal for total immersion in the educational programs, and yet the location offers easy access from around the U.S.

This fusion of traditional crafts and creative education reaches from the grass roots to the international craft world. The Appalachian Center for Craft is a vital expression of the rich contribution of the unique character of Tennessee.

The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enriching our region through cultural and educational programming that encourages, supports, and promotes the visual, performing, and literary arts.

As the producer of signature events—including the award-winning The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, the Texas Fine Craft Show, and the Young Makers Market, TWAC creates meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to celebrate, experience, and be inspired by creativity.

TWAC fulfills its mission through impactful year-round initiatives, including student art scholarships, microgrants, public art projects, and educational outreach programs. The Baltimore Jewelry Center is an educational nonprofit building a vibrant creative community for the study and practice of metalsmithing and art jewelry.

Belger Arts has three locations in Kansas City, MO where contemporary art exhibitions are presented and a range of programming in ceramics and glass education is provided.

Since 2000, the Belger Arts Center has encouraged viewers to explore, question, and deepen their understanding of art and of the world around them. Drawing upon the extensive Belger Collection as well as a rich variety of local, national, and international artists, the Belger Arts Center has staged over 100 large-scale exhibitions that represent some of the best in contemporary art.

Belger Crane Yard Studios, an arts complex dedicated to providing studio and exhibition space for artists, opened in 2013. The range of programming in ceramics education for all ages, in addition to an artist in residence program, has made Belger a center for contemporary art.

The Belger Glass Annex is the third Belger Arts location and opened to the public in October 2021. It is the first public glassblowing studio in Kansas City of its scale and scope. The facility boasts state-of-the-art glass blowing equipment and tools, a furnace that holds 300 pounds of molten glass, and three workstations. The Belger Glass Annex is primed to be a Midwest hub for glass art, education, and appreciation, strengthening Kansas City’s reputation as an arts destination.
