In conjunction with Suzanne Sullivan’s solo exhibition The Wilderness of Mirrors, join us at Brooklyn Metal Works for a chess tournament celebrating stealth, strategy, and subterfuge. Ceramicists Maggie Boyd and Julia Elsas will join Sullivan in this collaborative event, each creating a handmade chess board that will be set up for gameplay. Saturday, April 25 & Monday, April 27 from 1:30 to 5pm

Get a sneak peek of the glass blowing production of the Fountain Project 2026!

Nine artists will work together to create a custom glass fountain that will be installed at Powell Gardens from May 2 to June 21, 2026. View these artists at work at the Belger Glass Annex while they create an ambitious piece inspired by Kansas City’s distinction as the “City of Fountains.”
