More than a Museum | Gathering a Community 1950-54

More than a Museum showcases the early years of CMoG with a vibrant selection of objects from the permanent collection and Rakow Library, many of which have not been on view for decades. These items reflect the institution’s ambitious vision and the postwar optimism and patriotism that fueled it.

On view during CMoG’s 75th anniversary year, the exhibition asks visitors to compare the past and present while imagining the next 75 years of the institution.
