Wood Fired Clay Workshop

Instructor:  Len Cockman

Format: Four sessions will be at FAI followed by 3 days at the kiln site.   Students will all be using the same clay body, a cone 10 stoneware, that is appropriate for the wood-fired process.  Students may make anything out of their 25 pounds of clay to be fired.  This could be one large form or 100 ¼ pound shot glasses; it’s up to the student-artist.

Len will be in the studio to help advise and work with any ideas regarding glazing and construction methods.
