The Foothills Craft Guild, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chartered in 1968 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to promote fine crafts by:
- setting high standards of creativity and excellence of execution for a variety of handcrafts;
- providing demonstrations, scholarships and education about fine craft for people of all ages; and
- promoting the sale of fine crafts. FCG is the oldest member craft guild in the State of Tennessee and has earned a reputation nation-wide as one of the best in the Southeast region.
The Foothills Craft Guild was created to:
- Encourage the development and appreciation of arts and handicrafts of all types.
- Promote high standards of workmanship in handicrafts.
- Conduct educational programs on handicrafts with all ages.
- Sponsor handicraft shows and demonstrations.
- Engage in activities which contribute to the advancement, development, and appreciate of arts and handicrafts of all kinds.

The Hermitage Museum & Gardens (Norfolk, Virginia) presents Handwork at the Hermitage, an exhibit to highlight the handwork that shaped the site.
Many woodcarvers, such as Charles J. Woodsend (1847–1927) and Karl von Rydingsvärd (1863–1941), contributed distinctive styles and features that continue to define the site a century later.
Handwork at the Hermitage honors their craftsmanship and their work within the scope of America’s rich woodcarving traditions.

Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program is a nonprofit residential craft school located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains at the edge of the Pioneer Valley.
We offer 2-5 day adult craft workshops across eight studios (2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Fibers, Flameworking, Flat Glass & Mosaics, Metalsmithing & Jewelry, and Woodworking) from May to October, a teen program in July, and various studio residency programs throughout the year.

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a nationally recognized juried festival featuring over 200 artists from across the country.
Nearly half of participating artists work in fine craft disciplines, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, wood, and metal.
