Established in 1948, BAC is the region’s oldest nonprofit gallery and arts organization and is dedicated to supporting local and regional artists; providing arts education, outreach, and scholarships; and sparking a love of art in our community.

We partner with Pacific Northwest artists and organizations to foster a vibrant arts culture on Bainbridge Island through exhibitions, arts education and programs, artist representation, and creative collaborations that foster a culture of diverse artistic expression.

Claire Oliver Gallery is located in Central Harlem in a four-story brownstone. For 34 years, Claire Oliver Gallery has showcased and celebrated important artwork, with a focus on work by underrepresented communities, which transcends and challenges the traditional art historical canon. Our forward-thinking program and exclusive commitment to the primary market allows for an intensive focus that has nurtured and grown the careers of our artists.

Many of the gallery’s artists have been included in The Venice Biennale, The Whitney Biennial, and biennales in Sydney, Pittsburgh, and Lyon. Our Gallery’s artists have exhibited works in major international museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, Center Georges Pompidou, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art amongst many others.

Claire Oliver Gallery artists are included in the permanent collections of many important museums worldwide including MoMA, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Tate Britain, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The State Hermitage Museum, and many many others. Gallery artists have received prestigious fellowships including Fulbright, Guggenheim, USArtist, and National Endowment for the Arts.

The Gallery Space is an independent gallery housed in two retail spaces, Nest and Francis Jewelers.

It was designed to place high quality artwork in a public and accessible space open to everyday folks as well as art enthusiast.

Most exhibitions feature the work of a single artist allowing them to show the depth and breadth of their work.  The artists and works are curated by Priscilla Roggenkamp, a working visual artist and former art professor.

Brookfield Craft Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, founded in 1952 and incorporated in 1954 “to teach and preserve the skills of fine craftsmanship, and to enable creativity and personal growth through research and craft education.”

Our mission is to expand our reach and enhance our support for the artistic community, providing opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds to explore creative expression. We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment where creativity can thrive at every stage of one’s journey.

We offer classes in blacksmithing, metalworking, jewelry, fiber arts, glass, ceramics, woodturning, drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and expanded digital media. In addition to our educational programming, our gallery and retail shop showcases the works of regional artists.

Beyond advocating for the arts and community building, we play an active role in local historical preservation, economic development, and an enhanced way of life for all those engaged in our diverse offerings of programs, classes, and events.

Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois, is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. Founded in 1979, the center inspires creativity year-round through adult classes in a wide variety of arts and crafts, including weaving, pottery, blacksmithing, basketry and glassblowing. Welcoming everyone from beginners to experienced artists seeking community, Fine Line offers classes for all skill levels.

In addition to classes, Fine Line is also home to the Kavanagh Gallery and the Dempsey Artisan Shop. The Kavanagh Gallery hosts a number of exhibitions each year featuring work by local and national artists, providing a platform for artists to showcase their art to the broader community.

The Dempsey Artisan Shop gives local artists a year-round opportunity to sell their work. Fine Line offers a welcoming, supportive space for artists and art lovers to thrive.

Founded in 1935 during the height of the Great Depression by a group of artists and craftspeople banding together for mutual support. We centered our relationship to natural materials striving to create a more just and equitable society, where art and craft are valued and accessible to all. Our founders were dedicated to preserving age-old craft traditions in the making of beautiful objects of daily use, for ordinary people, and the personal and societal health that comes from doing so.

LexArt strives to infuse the arts into every aspect of civic life. We focus on inclusiveness and accessibility and find the most effective mechanism for providing opportunities for arts engagement is through our community partnerships and shared programming. We host a healthy studio instruction program, offering 130 classes and workshops each year in a broad range of disciplines. We operate publicly accessible maker-spaces in ceramics, metalsmithing, painting, weaving & woodworking and have multiple classrooms for other makers groups. We host numerous artisan fairs/markets throughout the year, promoting locally handcrafted goods. We have a monthly rotating gallery exhibition program, highlighting regional work at the intersection of fine art and craft. We seek to present and amplify the voices and experiences of those that contrast with our own and create a fertile and sympathetic space for people to come together, share, learn, and celebrate our common humanity.

The Studio Door is a contemporary art gallery and working-studio hub located in San Diego’s Hillcrest neighborhood, the city’s recognized LGBTQ Cultural District. Founded in 2014, the gallery presents a year-round exhibition program alongside 17 on-site artist studios, positioning itself as both a site of presentation and an active center of artistic production.

The Studio Door is committed to visibility, access, and sustained artistic practice, supporting artists working across media with a particular emphasis on process, material knowledge, and craft. Its programming includes thematic group exhibitions, spotlight presentations, and juried shows that bring together emerging and established artists from Southern California and beyond.

In addition to exhibitions, The Studio Door engages with community, business, and cultural partners through workshops, talks, and creative venue experiences. The Workhouse Arts Center is a vibrant 55-acre arts campus housed in a former historic prison. We offer art classes, exhibitions, and artist studio spaces for 70+ working artists, as well as professional theater and music performances, historic tours, and seasonal family-friendly experiences. 2026 commemorates the 25th anniversary of the closure of the Washington DC Corrections Office’s Lorton Correctional Complex (1910-2001). The Workhouse Arts Center is located on 55 acres of the former 3,500-acre prison and is home to the Lorton Prison Museum, dedicated to sharing the 91-years of this former Washington DC prison’s history, including events of the women’s suffrage movement.

Northern Clay Center’s mission is to advance the ceramic arts for artists, learners, and the community, through education, exhibitions, and artist services. Its goals are to create and promote high-quality, relevant, and participatory ceramic arts educational experiences; cultivate and challenge ceramic arts audiences through extraordinary exhibitions and programming; support ceramic artists in the expansion of their artistic and professional skills; embrace makers from diverse cultures, experiences, and traditions in order to create a more inclusive clay community; and excel as a non-profit arts organization.

The Groove Artspace is a multifaceted organization, including a teaching collaborative (with 15+ teachers offering a huge array of arts and crafts classes), studios for working artists and artisans, a gallery offering monthly exhibits and a non-profit arm managing our community outreach and education work.  We have a strong focus on glass and mosaic, but our work encompasses all forms of handwork and artistic creation.
