Claire Oliver Gallery is located in Central Harlem in a four-story brownstone. For 34 years, Claire Oliver Gallery has showcased and celebrated important artwork, with a focus on work by underrepresented communities, which transcends and challenges the traditional art historical canon. Our forward-thinking program and exclusive commitment to the primary market allows for an intensive focus that has nurtured and grown the careers of our artists.

Many of the gallery’s artists have been included in The Venice Biennale, The Whitney Biennial, and biennales in Sydney, Pittsburgh, and Lyon. Our Gallery’s artists have exhibited works in major international museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, Center Georges Pompidou, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art amongst many others.

Claire Oliver Gallery artists are included in the permanent collections of many important museums worldwide including MoMA, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Tate Britain, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The State Hermitage Museum, and many many others. Gallery artists have received prestigious fellowships including Fulbright, Guggenheim, USArtist, and National Endowment for the Arts.

The Gallery Space is an independent gallery housed in two retail spaces, Nest and Francis Jewelers.

It was designed to place high quality artwork in a public and accessible space open to everyday folks as well as art enthusiast.

Most exhibitions feature the work of a single artist allowing them to show the depth and breadth of their work.  The artists and works are curated by Priscilla Roggenkamp, a working visual artist and former art professor.

Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois, is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. Founded in 1979, the center inspires creativity year-round through adult classes in a wide variety of arts and crafts, including weaving, pottery, blacksmithing, basketry and glassblowing. Welcoming everyone from beginners to experienced artists seeking community, Fine Line offers classes for all skill levels.

In addition to classes, Fine Line is also home to the Kavanagh Gallery and the Dempsey Artisan Shop. The Kavanagh Gallery hosts a number of exhibitions each year featuring work by local and national artists, providing a platform for artists to showcase their art to the broader community.

LexArt strives to infuse the arts into every aspect of civic life. We focus on inclusiveness and accessibility and find the most effective mechanism for providing opportunities for arts engagement is through our community partnerships and shared programming. We host a healthy studio instruction program, offering 130 classes and workshops each year in a broad range of disciplines. We operate publicly accessible maker-spaces in ceramics, metalsmithing, painting, weaving & woodworking and have multiple classrooms for other makers groups. We host numerous artisan fairs/markets throughout the year, promoting locally handcrafted goods. The Studio Door is a contemporary art gallery and working-studio hub located in San Diego’s Hillcrest neighborhood, the city’s recognized LGBTQ Cultural District. Founded in 2014, the gallery presents a year-round exhibition program alongside 17 on-site artist studios, positioning itself as both a site of presentation and an active center of artistic production.

The Studio Door is committed to visibility, access, and sustained artistic practice, supporting artists working across media with a particular emphasis on process, material knowledge, and craft. 2026 commemorates the 25th anniversary of the closure of the Washington DC Corrections Office’s Lorton Correctional Complex (1910-2001). The Workhouse Arts Center is located on 55 acres of the former 3,500-acre prison and is home to the Lorton Prison Museum, dedicated to sharing the 91-years of this former Washington DC prison’s history, including events of the women’s suffrage movement.
