Waterford Craft School
The Waterford Craft School offers hands on heritage craft workshops, mini workshops, and summer camps in the National Historic Landmark village of Waterford, Virginia. Through one and two day classes, students learn directly from skilled artisans and master instructors while exploring traditional crafts and building arts in a unique historic setting.
A program of the Waterford Foundation, the Craft School supports the Foundation’s educational mission by connecting students with makers and helping preserve traditional skills for future generations. The Craft School also partners with the Waterford Fair to provide opportunities for artisans to teach, demonstrate, and share their craft with the public.
Workshops are offered in a variety of lengths and skill levels, with most classes designed for adults ages 18 and older. Foundation members help support the preservation and educational work of the Waterford Foundation and make programs like the Craft School possible. Join us and learn a new skill while helping keep traditional crafts alive.
