Family Workshop: Dyeing with Plants with Vero Mendoza

Join Zapotec artist Vero Mendoza and learn ancestral techniques for preparing and dyeing textiles with natural dyes.

All participants receive a pre-treated cotton bandana to dye and take home. Includes a weaving demonstration with naturally dyed yarn, an art form passed down four generations in Mendoza’s family.

Held in Zapotec and Spanish with English translation.
Ages 7+. $25 members / $30 non-members.
