Salted Memory: Crystallization as Material and Method
presented by
Craft Contemporary
Salt crystals are produced through the evaporation of mineral-rich waters, leaving behind memory, artifact, and texture.
In this workshop, salt becomes both material and metaphor for the environment and the afterlife of objects. Led by artist Diego Borgsdorf Fuenzalida, participants explore crystallization while creating textile samples, brines, and a small salt sculpture to take home.
Sliding scale, suggested $15-35.
